Will the MacBook Air be worth buying in 2018?

I personally own a MacBook Air and I can say that it is a good device. I recently bought MacBook Air a couple of months ago. It is amazing.

Why I bought it?

I am a programmer and I am learning web development, iOS development and another various type of development.

Firstly let's talk about mac hardware.

1. It boots incredibly fast.
2. Weight around 1.3 kg and it is ultra light and portable.
3. 8–9 hours of battery backup allows you to code whole day.
4. Also, front camera in my mac works best in low light.
5. The ambient light sensor adjusts brightness automatically.
6. No heating issues. you can put in your lap because of no vents underside.
7. Magnetic charger saves laptop from falling when tripped over the wire.

I think that Mac is designed for programmers with Backlight keyboard, keys feels very good during coding/typing.

Macbook has some compatibility issues. But there is an alternative for every software. Low storage problem due to SSD but this space is enough for all sorts of software needed by a programmer. After all, very fewer people keep movies on their laptops(watch online).

If you are a programmer you spend most of your time with your laptop. So it must be a good one.
